Interview serif

Senior candidates whose resume will be read slowly.

The Interview serif resume template, compiled to a one-page PDF: Print-classic, quiet
A real compile of this template — not a mock-up.

Linux Libertine with small-caps headings, generous leading and the widest margins in the FAANG set at nearly two thirds of an inch. Libertine is a book face — drawn for continuous reading, not for scanning — and the whole page is set to be read rather than skimmed.

That is the right bet in a narrower set of situations than people assume, and a very valuable one when it applies: the resume printed and carried into an interview loop, the one a hiring manager opens before a conversation, the one going to a small group who will actually discuss you. In those rooms a page that is pleasant to read for two minutes beats a page optimised for ten seconds.

It follows that this holds the least of any template here. If you are cutting bullets to fit, you have chosen the wrong one — take Signal or Compact sans and come back to this when the page is comfortable. Written in-house for ResumeX: one page, single column, standard headings, real text, nothing in the margins. Part of the FAANG set, so it needs Pro or Career.
