Roomy serif
Career changers and anyone with two or three years of history.

The answer to a real problem: most resume templates are built to cram a decade onto one page, and if you do not have a decade they make you look thin. This one is built the other way round. Margins are three quarters of an inch, spacing between sections is generous, and bullets are marked with a small mid-dot rather than a heavy round one.
The effect is that a page with three roles on it looks composed rather than empty. Your name is set in full capitals across the top with contact details on two centred lines beneath — a slower, more formal opening than the single dense line most templates use, and it earns its space when the page below is not fighting for room.
Education leads, with space for honours, societies and a GPA. The closing Technical Strengths block is a label-and-value grid — languages, protocols, databases, tools — which lets a short skills list occupy a sensible amount of page without padding. Reach for this if you are two or three years in, changing field, or returning to work; reach for Dense professional if you are running out of room.
