The loudest structure in the library, and deliberately so. Section headings are set in bold uppercase with a full-width rule beneath each one, which divides the page into unmistakable blocks — a layout that survives being printed, scanned, photocopied and read in a hurry.
Margins are pulled in to four tenths of an inch, the tightest here, so it holds more than its openness suggests. It opens with an Objective line rather than a summary paragraph: one sentence naming the role you want. That convention has gone out of fashion with some readers, but it is still expected on plenty of graduate schemes, and the template is honest about which audience it is for. Skills are laid out as a label-and-value grid, so a reader can find one category at a glance.
It also ships sections most resume templates omit — Projects, Extra-Curricular Activities and Leadership — which matters when your employment history is short and the interesting evidence is everywhere else.
